Chris Krattiger-Savelkouls with a business degree from Waikato University (New Zealand), has been involved in pharmaceutical marketing research since 1992. She started Research Matters in 2001 and is the Managing Director of the Company. Up until 2001, Chris was the Director of International Projects and the Director of the Oncology Department at a major pharmaceutical market research company where she developed Europe's first cancer patient monitor.

Wendy Giardina has an MBA from INSEAD (Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires, Fontainebleau, France), and 20 years of marketing research, product management and marketing experience in Europe, Asia, North and South America. She is the co-founder of GfK Research Matters.

Jörn Kleebach, who has a psychology and marketing degree from the University of Bonn, Germany, has
15 years of global market research and marketing experience for pharmaceutical products
.
Jörn has been employed as a project manager for pharmaceutical market research projects for 10 years working in several European countries before joining GfK Research Matters as Director of International Projects in May, 2001.

Chantal Savelkouls has a degree in both International Marketing and Communications from the University of Waikato (NZ). She has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for 8 years, both on the vendor and client side.

She joined GfK Research Matters as an International Project Manager in November 2003 and was promoted to Project Director in 2005. Before joining Research Matters, Chantal was the Market Research Manager at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where she supported the oncology, hepatitis and rheumatoid arthritis franchises in planning and conducting their primary market research.

Petra Maertens has been involved in market research and specifically in oncology research for more than 20 years. She has worked for the German affiliate of a Global pharmaceutical company but also for international market research companies. She was responsible for the Europe’s first Cancer Patient Monitor and initiated the on-line documentation of oncology treatment information when online research was in its infancy in Europe. Petra has been involved in ad-hoc as well as multi-client oncology projects and has worked together with many global and local pharmaceutical companies. She has conducted research projects for products in different development phases using various methodologies.

Petra is German and speaks fluent English, German and French.


Andrea Fricker has a master’s degree from the University of Westminster, London and also holds a marketing diploma. Prior to joining Research Matters in 2002, she worked in private banking.

Since at GfK Research Matters, Andrea has been involved in various qualitative and quantitative ad-hoc projects for different products, mainly in the oncology area. She is involved throughout all stages of the market research process and is able to conduct interviews in most European countries due to her strong language abilities.

In addition to managing ad-hoc projects, Andrea manages the Oncology Treatment Trackers (Breast, Colorectal and Lung).

Andrea speaks fluent German, English and French.

Dominic Meyer has a first degree in molecular biology from the University of Basel. He has 7 years of pharmaceutical market research experience.

Before joining GfK Research Matters in July 2001, he has worked as a freelance group discussion moderator, specializing in projective techniques, for BrainStore AG in Biel (CH).

He has been involved in projects for respiratory disease, diabetes, transplantation, CNS, CV, infectious diseases and oncology - managing ad-hoc studies at all stages of the product lifecycle, with special interest in segmentation and other marketing problems requiring multivariate analysis methods.

He is also responsible for the management and development of online market research tools for panels and ad-hoc studies.

Since starting at GfK Research Matters he has worked together with various pharmaceutical companies.

Dominic speaks English, French and German.

 

Barbara Sasshofer has a master’s degree in geography, anthropology and sociology from the University of Basel, Switzerland and holds a translator diploma.

Before joining a major pharmaceutical market research company in 1998 as a project manager for the Swiss market she worked in Austria, England, Turkey (and Switzerland) as a marketing assistant, teacher and office manager. Barbara has joined GfK Research Matters as a senior project co-ordinator in 2004.

Barbara organizes projects in a variety of therapeutic areas, including auto-immune diseases, diabetes, oncology, respiratory diseases and transplantation. She also conducts specialist and opinion leader interviews in German, English and French. Barbara is fluent in German, English and French.

 

Cedric Degraeuwe – Cedric has a degree in international business and marketing from Saint Etienne International Business School (France), and an MBA from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana (USA).

Before joining GfK Research Matters in 2005, he worked for 4 years as the Fieldwork Manager for International Projects for A+A Healthcare Marketing Research in France.

Cedric has broad experience with quantitative and qualitative fieldwork for pharmaceutical market research in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Cedric has lived and worked in France, the USA and in Switzerland.

He speaks French and English.

Pascal van der Giessen has a degree in International Business and Management from the Arnhem Business School in The Netherlands. He has been educated in Switzerland, Holland and Canada.

Before joining GfK Research Matters in May 2005 as a Project Assistant, he conducted market research for Clariant International (Masterbatches Division), and worked as a Project Manager with an international translations agency in Spain.

Pascal has been involved in the global field management, interviewing and analysis and for several major oncology products.

He speaks fluent English, German, and Dutch and has a good understanding of Spanish.

Gwinn Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI (USA) with a focus in Microbiology and Immunology.

Gwinn has a strong background in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Psychology.

Gwinn joined GfK Research Matters in 2006 as a Project Coordinator but has been working with the company as a freelance discussion group moderator and interviewer since 2002. Gwinn has extensive experience within the oncology area and is involved in all phases of project development and execution.

 

Gülay Erdem has a commercial degree obtained through a Swiss federal work/study apprenticeship program. She has an administrative background, with experience in bookkeeping, personnel and general secretarial duties. She is the office manager of the company.

Gülay speaks German, English, French, Turkish and Sign Language.

 

 

Clare Austin has an honours degree in Computing and Statistics from Leicester, England. Most of her career has been in computing within the motor, finance and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to moving to Switzerland 10 years ago, she took on a consultancy role covering customer satisfaction, psychometrics and market research.

Clare speaks English and German.

Olga Reimann - has a business degree from the University of St. Petersburg, Russia, and 5 years of industry and agency experience in pharmaceutical marketing research. After 1 year traineeship in market research with Novartis Olga was working with an international pharmaceutical market research company before joining GfK Research Matters in 2004.

Olga has experience in conducting projects in the oncology area including a cancer patient monitor and Ad Hoc studies. She also conducted various qualitative and quantitative projects in other therapeutic areas including: urology, neurology, ophthalmology, stomatology, rheumatology.

Olga is fluent in Russian, English and German.

 Amandine Faguer has a master’s degree of pharmaceutical marketing from the University of Lyon (France). She also has a background in communication and advertising - specialized in the pharmaceutical field. She joined Research Matters in 2006 after having worked for a large pharmaceutical market research company in France as a Research Executive. She is involved in all stages of qualitative and quantitative projects’ coordination, and is working in various therapeutic areas including respiratory diseases and oncology.

Amandine has experience in conducting face-to-face interviews and moderation of focus groups in French and in English, with specialists and patients. Amandine speaks fluent English and French, with working knowledge of German and Italian.

 

 

Ildiko Pajor has joined Research Matters as a Project Assistant in 2007. She has worked for Research Matters before as a freelancer specializing in coding and assisting in analyzing international research projects.

Ildiko speaks German, English, Hungarian, French, and Dutch.
